Bus trip I

Jen and I have experienced the local buses here in Florence--to Fiesole and to Piazzale Michelangelo. In order to visit Siena and San Gimignano, we bought tickets on the regional buses, stopping in all the little towns along the way. We walked to the bus station to catch the 7:57 a.m. bus to Siena, about an hour trip. Siena is a medieval city--full of narrow streets, leading to the Piazza del Campo, site of the famous Palio (horse races) in July and August.
