The first morning Jen and I boarded the A train (Metro line) to see the sights in the Palatine area. As we climbed up the steps from the subway, we were met with the amazing site of the Colosseum--a real "wow" reason for taking the Metro. Vendors selling everything imaginable circled the Colosseum--later in the day we were glad to buy bottles of frozen water. Who knew water could taste that good!
It is easy to imagine water battles, throngs of people, wild animals caged below wa

Wow! I love the expository part as well as the pictures. I'm reading from the bottom of the blog UP so I can experience the days in order.
Cheri, I'm on the patio with my notebook tablet [wireless], sipping coffee and listening to the birds chirrrrrrp. We have two baby owl in the front yard the land and eat who knows what out of the grass.
