Sunday evenings in Florence are times for families to gather, to take walks--window shopping, stopping in at their favorite gelato shops or at a local enoteca or wine bar. Here in the San Ambrogio area, one of the local bars (restaurants) sets up tables and chairs in the newly renovated piazza where locals sit and sip a beer or glass of wine.
In Piazza della Repubblica, local opera singers entertain the diners and
strollers.
