Florence has many "vistas"--from Piazzale Michelangelo, from San Miniato de Monte, all breathtaking. Jen and I hopped a no. 13 bus to the Piazzale, admired the views, then hiked up the steep hill to the church (chiesa) of San Miniato, an 11th century Romanesque marvel.
